You're forgetting about the Best Yandere Nadeko Sengoku. She is the Worst -Gatari girl but still the best Yandere ever.

Well, given that this is in the Happy Sugar Life forum, I expect Satou to take this.. and she gets my vote.

With the exception of "Yandere-Lite" (Mikasa from AoT, Ayase from OreImo) I generally dislike yandere. And I really, really hated yandere poster girl Yuno. In fact, my prejudice towards yandere probably worsened after Yuno. On a different day, I might have skipped Happy Sugar Life because they make it so obvious that the MC is a yandere and the odds of liking an anime while disliking the MC, while possible, is quite low.

But on that very day I gave HSL a chance and.. while I can't say that I "like" Satou, the characterised individual, I do find her actions far more interesting than Yuno's. HSL is interesting thanks to her in large part to her. Yuno may win hand down in body count, but I didn't find her "crazies" eerie like Satou, merely annoying and partly spoiled the Mirai Nikki with her constant crying out for Yuuki (to be fair, I had other issues with the show and generally thought that they didn't make the most out of a generally interesting premise). This, of course is my opinion only. To be honest, Yuno is probably my most despised anime character ever so it was unlikely I would have voted otherwise from the start.. but Satou really distinguishes herself by making me want to watch the next episode, despite being the kind of character I would usually despise (m'well, it probably help that almost everyone else in the show is bat crazy so you don't have to feel bad for what happens).

Kaede from Shuffle but Matsuzaka is on top because it's interesting how she can control her tendencies at certain moments.

You know Yuno is a really good yandere (i hate her to death tho) but Satou is a yandere for a 5 years old girl. I think that makes her more crazy and more yandere

Yuno is great but Satou is more believable and nuanced, which ultimately makes it more enjoyable for me.

Yuno is pure crazy while Satou is still capable of putting on a facade like a normal human being. I'd go for Satou.

That entire manga is just messed up, so I agree with you there.

But Satou gets my vote here, especially after ep. 9 :)

I think Satou. Yuno is as crazy as she is because she failed and knows all the answers. She is simply acting as required to prevent the inevitable. Satou is a genuinely deranged person.

Honestly, they are both great and it's hard to compare. I think Satou would be just as ruthless in every situation, should she have been thrust into it just as Yuno.
