I've been hooked recently in anime with mc transported in medieval theme, so i i am planning on watching both but i dont know which one will be the first on my watch list.

None of those animes have anything to do with a medieval theme though...

There is Death March (which is mediocre) that's in a medieval setting although there's magic (MC is transported there).

It depends on what u want to watch

If u want an anime with OP main lead, huge crap of melodrama, harem and romance then SAO is for u.

And if u want to watch an anime with
--a very realistic MC who is a great strategist in battles, politics and in day to day problems

--which does not has any romance or drama
Then Log Horizon is the best choice.

Personally i like Log Horizon more

Log Horizon is a great Isekai anime.

I haven't watched SAO.

But... none of them is medieval themed... ^^;

Log Horizon - is more about strategy and politics. Focus on surviving inside the game while searching a way to get out. MC is not an OP fighter, but he is an OP strategist. Doesn't have many romance, well actually it doesn't really have romance except the fact that there are 2 girls falls for him. And that's it.

SAO - haven't finished this. More about action romance. Have a harem subplot, and the focus is about getting out of the game. Can't say anything more..

Choose the one you prefer. So far I prefer Log Horizon since I like the concept better.

I'm starting to get embarrassed by my own forum signature line.. XD
