He succeeded at his work (without changing his career to a less prestigious one, like in ep 28), never got punished by Mogurou, managed to protect his new position from the nosy neighbour. I don't see a downside here. Maybe the lesson of this episode is "ask the one who has the power to screw you over to not screw you over, and you might end up on top compared to what you had before"? |
| Considering the rate of growth of that tree, it will probably control the whole street in a day lol. So, it isn't exactly a happy ending XD. |
