On the one-year anniversary, Akko VA Megumi Han seems to be teasing a new anime project.

“This time last year.

It was just yesterday and a year has passed.

It will also be the sixth year in this year.

Since the TV series of Little Witch Academia has been on air.

Seems like Little Witch Academia Season 2 rather than a Shiny Chariot prequel or a Night Fall spinoff since Akko's character is involved. But it could also be a full-length movie. Personally, I'd like to see another two-cour second season.

It be great to have more Little Witch, but I rather have more Kill La Kill, but I guess Trigger second best show has to suffice.

I personally feel like Kill la Kill ended perfectly and doesn't need anything more. LWA is clearly not done yet. Can't wait to see how everything unfolds.

From just a financial perspective, Kill la Kill sold about 4x the number of copies as LWA so there's an argument to be made that a sequel should be a priority. However, Netflix pushed LWA hard and the LWA video game is a factor for licensing income.

Would prefer another TV series rather than a movie, the more minutes we get to spend on this loveable universe, the better.

Was going to say you were pulling those numbers out of your arse but you had proof there... shows how much young japanese taste as gone down these years, sure I may enjoy something like Love Live, flashy girls to bait you, mindless fun, but some short and generic at best.
Yet here comes something really fantastic and refreshing and only getting those numbers, KlK was great but not as deserving as LWA, but whatever.
Hope the stream revenue with netflix and the popularity it got more than made to encourage trigger to deliver another season (even though it seems the scriptwritter for the TV series died last year).
