| I mean, aspects of the plot have been done by all sorts of anime. The whole "dystopian future with special kids who can pilot robots/use magic/use weapons made out of demon hearts or souls" thing has been done by many anime at this point. It's almost its own subgenre at this point (though certainly not as big as the CGDCT or isekai subgenres). |
| This gotta be one of the oddest comparisons I've seen on MAL. Mind you there are people on here recommending series based on all sorts of nonsense like eye color or hair style. I've seen some straight up leaps of logic and reason and this is up there with them. |
