Notifications When Suggesting a Character Database Edit

^Sorry for not making myself clear, but in that case I was referring only to characters. There are other approvals/denials that get notifications. You get notifications if a person entry is approved and denied (not just when approved like with characters), same if adding a job geta approved (but I don't know if you get a notification if adding a job gets denied, as that hasn't happened to me yet, adding a voice role to a voice actor doesn't get approved though). As for anime/manga submissions, I only got notifications when they were approved if they were related to an anime/manga I watched/read or plan to.

Nevertheless, more stuff should be notified so that you don't have to keep checking.

Mods usually work on the weekend I think.

Adding new anime,characters,manga,people gives you a notification both rejected/denied but if you just submitted an edit, it doesn't, hopefully they at least notify us. It's a pain sometimes going to the page to see if the edit was done or not

Seems like were opposites here, never get one when they are accepted only get them when theyre denied

Well kind of, its complicated, basically i get a message of the guy saying its rejected and he tells me what i need to change but when i go check the pages ive edited all of it changed to the way i edited it, sometimes its really rejected, but everytime i get a rejected from the Mod called Svaax its actually accepted and he tells me what was wrong with it, it has made me really confused.

Yeah, the problem with that is you are only getting a notification from the Moderator, if they don't message you (idk how often people get edit correction messages), then you are stuck with never knowing.

It sucks yeah, it sometimes takes months before i find out if something is accepted because i dont get the notification

Hey it can take a long time, ive still got requests standing from over a year ago....

I'd apply for the job but im not old enough yet, and seeing how new mods are chosen every 5 years or so it'll take a while before i can become one, but if it was me id go through all requests in a week! why? because ive got no life....

Start a suggestion thread to lower the age minimum for DB Moderators. I would support that. After all, even younger people apply, its not like they get automatically accepted if they aren't good for the job then they won't get it. If you have a ton of spare time, that could help MAL out big time.

Dont get me wrong i think their age minimum is a good thing, i think that having to be 17 is a very good thing, its just that i hate how slow they are so i want to do it myself

Right now, it seems no character entries or edits to character entries are being approved at all. I've been trying for weeks to add more characters to the Cinderella Girls and Kayou Cinderella Girls' second seasons' pages and they're not being approved. And there are characters waiting for approval since these series' first seasons.

Just wanted to mention I got at least a few character entries and edits approved. For this manga, I got Hexe, Maya and Vanilla approved. And I got Mizuki Kawashima and Yui Ootsuki added to this anime and this manga. (this is the anime in which Yui appears, though).

Thanks for the update! I just saw that Nanachi from Made in Abyss had her picture updated but my edits from Made in Abyss haven't been added yet. I suppose that pictures are a much easier thing to accept or deny though
