Having an extremely hard time getting back into anime...

The last time I actively was watching anime was in June, and since then I haven't been able to find a show that holds my interest...

What are some summer 2017 anime that are really engaging and will leave me wanting to binge? Or any anime, old or new that I haven't seen that will get me hooked back into anime? Looking for some sort of action or thriller!

Psycho-Pass
Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin
Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199
Great Teacher Onizuka

From new seasons I'm not sure you'd like something, but lets see.

Mahoutsukai no Yome
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu

I hope you'll get something from here. Check my completed section maybe you'll find something, though keep in mind our grading system might differ.

What people like about Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 ?! The anime feels so boring, I was going to sleep when I watched it.

Rainbow and Psycho-Pass are good though

Well it would be a pretty dull world if we all had the same opinion about something. When I checked your list it didn't say you watched the anime I posted above, you had them in your list but it said 0/24, well I hope it helped somehow or at least guided you to something you found interesting! Have a good one!

If you haven't seen it yet, you should try out Gintama, it's 300+ episodes long and I finished it in 20 days. It might be boring at first but trust me, after 20 or so episodes, you catch on to the humor and once you get to the serious arcs, shit gets real and you start to feel for the characters you grow attached to over time/. If you decide to watch it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Gintama > One Piece = Naruto > Bleach > DBZ
