I knew sunglasses guy was gonna blow up Joe's friends in front of him, but it still gave me the feels when it happened. Ivan's backstory is tragic, but Joe has to keep confronting his painful past over and over. When you add in his big heart, its like this story just wants Joe to suffer. It makes for a great story beat tho.

I wish my fellow African brother didn't have to be the guinea pig for that wave attack, but he was the best representative in that line up. 008 isn't a hollow weapons casing and 005 is too big for the damage to come across dramatically. Since this show has no problems using real world locations, show Nigeria some love in a future story to make up for 008 not kicking more butt.

As always, shouts out to the way smoke is animated in this show. Sometimes the explosions aren't satisfying, but the smoke in this show is always on point.
