| I'm not sure if this is the proper thread, or if it should go in casual discussion, but whatever. Anyone here attend music festivals. I previously posted something about Electric Forest a few days before I went. It was my 2nd time going, so I kind of knew what to expect, but this time was way better. I went the first time mostly just as a big party and for the drugs. But this time was different, I actually knew and enjoyed the music more than the first time. I went to Lolla before, but mostly for the rappers and whatever, but I've recently fallen in love with EDM. Plus the atmosphere of forest was the best thing I've ever experienced. All my friends (most) go to Lolla over Forest, but I'm trying to start going to festivals more. AKA Bassnectar and RL Grime changed my life. I plan on going to Freaky Deaky in Chicago this fall, and am trying to plan my moves for next summer as I'm addicted now. Depending on lineup its looking like EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, or maybe Spring Awakening. Spring Awakening has the 1 day passes so I may choose the others and go one day to Spring Awakening. Artists I like consist of RL Grime, Bassnectar, Excision, Keys N Krates, Odesza, and a few others. I'm relatively new to EDM and festivals as a whole, so if anyone else here goes( I doubt it due to lack of response to my last thread) to festivals or has experience, let's hear it. |
| i love music festivals, getting sweaty and wetty is the best part. and by wetty i mean by the beer that is thrown from one side to the other. mosh pits are also very exciting, just make sure you put AWAY your phone and don't snapchat it, i know how exciting snapchat can be sometimes! i would go to a music festival if i were you, experience the atmosphere and enjoy it, become a hipster, take some drugs and get high. |
