| *Possible spoilers if you haven't read through Chapter 187.* Does anyone know what happened? The last few chapters left on such an abrupt ending and there were so many unanswered questions and dangling plot threads. Did the manga get canceled or did Norifusa-sensei just get tired of the story? Chapter 187 is just such an odd place to end the series. It feels like something forced it to end but I can't find any news on the series anywhere online. I was really hoping for actual character development for I also wanted to know more about There seemed to be some ripe story there with Perhaps explaining why Also, I was looking forward to the exploration of other financial markets like commodities markets or foreign exchanges. Perhaps an explanation of the diamond market and the history of the De Beers ad campaign. Heck they just softballed the whole biotech venture plot too. Heck even an exploration of the Trans-Pacific Partnership and how having a financial personality like Donald Trump leading America would affect Japan. (For those interested, Japan ratified the TPP the same day the US withdrew from it. Later the Japanese PM called a TPP without the US "meaningless.") I guess now I can only hope for a sequel, maybe with Zaizen as a third year high school student and his tenure as president of the investment club. |
