the final few episodes were interesting. stylish fight scenes, good suspense and conclusion. reminds me a bit of kill la kill, except that kill la kill seems to make more sense at places, and seems to be more fun and stylish at the same time.
the thing is that the building-up towards it - the twenty few episodes before the final fights - has major problems, and these problems almost made me dropped this show.
akko is an unbearable character. each of the minor stories although prpgresses the plots a little bit, are forgettable. too many self-contradictory narratives. timing and pacing of supposedly funny parts are dragged on for too long. it sometimes tries to carry some deeper message, but most of them are mostly presented pnly at the surface level.
the show although having amazing action scenes, fight scenes, and impeccable music work, however the actual contents just does not do justice to these.
if the show were shorter, if they put more effort into the scripts, this should moght have been a lot more enjoyable.
kill la kill on the other hand, have very iconic characters, a focused plot, very strong visuals, hotblooded but non-cliche music, and never felt dragged out at any places. for anyone enjoyed watching this sho's final dew episodes, kill la kill might be a very suitable for them.

Although they are hiccups here and there, I would say that they make a splendid scene to end the show

Beautiful anime, incredible animation and art, very awesome main character (Akko), tons of references to the Real World and even other animes. I don't think i'll ever find another gem like this for a while. LOVED EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT ❤❤❤

even 5 years later and it still hits, both the english dub and japanese sub. its beautiful, and she even flew, showing how far she has come. such a sight to see

boy that was a shitload of fun banger of a last episode
sure wish they'd make an LWA movie an pump the kind of animation budget in that last episode into the full runtime of the 2 hour feature length masterpiece

I loved the last ep so much. I was suprised of so many interesting and awesome moments in it. The ending was 10/10 and I didn't expect Constanze Braunschbank finally say a word in the Anime. Usually she doesn't speak and works alone but I was suprised that she finally said something.

I loved the moment when Akko's friends helped her near the end and I really like the Constanze's moment when she made the broom's rear a big rocket like broom and gave a huge boost. I was amazed that akko finally learned to fly on a broom.
The final ep was full of sparks and joy that was very special and I liked it very much.
