| Not really. I think it's mostly the hair color and style. And this is coming from one of the few people who'll compare this anime unfavorably to SAO. I think what draws attention to the similar features is that both are female leads in anime about videogames. |

It's just marketing, nothing better than publicity created with controversy, they made her similar to the most famous female MC of the isekai genre, they could choose a whole lot of others but they chose Asuna. It boosts popularity, just by you opening a pool like this one somewhat supports what I'm saying. You apply that to the premise of this anime too, and you can open a pool about if this anime is similar to SAO or not... |
