| I was wondering how old were everybody, some characters don't seem to age. For instance, how old is the yazuka? I thought he was the same age as Yakumo at some time, but he looks definitely younger than him in the latest episodes. When Konatsu was a teenager, the yakuza was 40. If Yakumo is older than the yakuza, he was maybe close to 50 then. Around 55 when he met Yotaro. Yakumo said he was close in age to Matsuda who is 72 when konatsu was pregnant. So Yakumo was probably 65+ at that time. Sensei was still a teenager when Miyokichi was dating Yakumo. They comes back to the onsen 30 years after the accident. Konatsu was around 3-6 when the accident happened. So Konatsu is 33-36 yo then, and him, around 47-53yo. He looks rather young for someone around 50. Last chapter Matsuda is 95, Koyuki 15-16, Shinnosuke 22 However, in the fist episode, it is said that Sukeroku was very active 20 years ago. On the magazine it's written 1971. So Konatsu is older than 20. Then she may be 23-26. 10 years later 33-36 when she got her baby (hm...) If Shinnosuke is 6 when they returned to the onsen, she would be 38-41, so 8-11 at the time of the accident.....It's not working. Looks like I got it wrong somewhere. Even the mistress, I thought she was older than Miyokichi who was herself 5 years older than Yakumo. The mistress could be 10 years older than him and in her 80' and it didn't show that much. She looks in better health than him. |
