| I first started watching anime 19 years ago when I was little, without actually knowing it was anime. I watched it on Club Dorothée with French dubs and the shows they were mainly showing were Dragon Ball, DBZ, City Hunter, Ranma 1/2 and Sailor Moon. I remember it being quite the hype in Belgium and France. After that I started renting VHS anime in the local video store, mainly Guyver, Dominion Tank Police, Akira, Battle Angel Alita and Fist of the North Star. As I got older I lost interest in anime and started doing lots of other stuff, mainly involving actually going out with friends :P I seriously started watching anime about 2.5 years ago, and made an account here on MAL shortly after. I feel a bit old now... >_> |

Although I did go through a marvel cartoon phase. Been watching Batman for six years now every Saturday. I stopped after getting into anime though. |

| As far back as I can recall, anime has been in my childhood for as long as I've been watching television, though I never differentiated anime from any other cartoon show... Voltron was no different than Loony toons.... I wasn't aware I was watching anime until the advent of Pokemon I'd say 12 years, give or take, is when I started, but as a hobby by itself, around 4 years |

| On and off since I was 10 (about 10 years). The first anime I ever saw was Little Nemo in Slumberland, but I was too bored to finish it. (I must have been around 5 then.) However, I only started paying much attention to anime after Pokemon became popular. |
