| Just finished season 3. Want to continue story. What chapter/volume to start? |

| I guess this isn't meant for the OP and more just for anyone wondering. I started reading the manga because I couldn't bear seeing Keima have a bad ending while all the girls forgot about him meanwhile his feelings for them still lingered, even though as time go on he started to feel more like a playboy than a nerd that actually got to love girls that just forget about him when they finally kiss, so after finding out he actually has a good ending by the end of the manga I also went and searched where to start reading after the anime just to find out the anime just skips 70 chapters! To put that in prespective the first two seasons are only 40 chapters, so I started reading those 70 chapters, skiping the 10 that are the OVAs and when I got to the start of the third season I stoped reading and started watching and I can say about that is that the manga ruined the anime for me. Allow me to elaborate, they skip and change so much stuff from the manga that it's a bit painful, whatever info was skiped from the first two seasons didn't affect the rest of the manga so much that I had to read those chapters too, same goes for the OVAs, I kinda had to force myself to whatch this season for completionist sake, now I get why people complain so much about an anime butchering a manga. In short start at chapter 42 after you've seen all the anime if you want a proper story. |
