| Virtua Fighter is really pulling the "Your Princess is in Another Castle" bit. They're even pulling the self-destructing James Bond villain base gimmick too. I'm not exactly surprised, but it's fascinating to see these clichés in action in their non-parody forms. By the way, while the minor character dub voices are hit and miss, the main cast is actually pretty good. I've been enjoying it so far. I think my main criticism so far would be some of the really bad accents, although that could be attributed to the cheesy nature of the show. Might as well go full ham with the accents if the show itself is camp, I suppose. |
