I can't believe I even need to point this out, but if you click "Helpful" on a review you can't undo that. I've made a couple misclicks on this site before and I doubt I'm the only one. Please allow users to undo their "Helpful" clicks on reviews.

This would be nice, but it is not a big deal for me.

If they are already on it they should just give us a "not helpful" button.

We used to have one, but it was removed due to people "not helpful" bombing reviews (even though no one would do that to a review if they thought it was helpful).

I'm still salty that that was removed. Reviews are almost useless now.

I was looking through some reviews the other day and I too accidentally pressed on the helpful button. My first instinct was to undo it, but then I saw that it was not possible.

This should really be a thing, you have my support.
I feel like it's more of a common sense thing if anything.

I too have accidentally pressed that button...

I've done that a couple of times too. It really needs to be added. Even if a Not Helpful button isn't added, at least the option to retract the Helpful one would be pretty helpful :)

Well, it happened to me one time, so I guess I also want this... xD

Yeah, i second this one, but at least have a better explanation of why... Mhhh... Now that you think about it, it'll become a shitfest once it was implemented... xD

Everyone has misclicked 'helpful' on at least one review, including myself. I support this idea.

But wouldn't this be available to anyone? What about those other users who +1 the other reviews, and the -1 it because someone is better? And, to what degree would it be appropriate to -1 that review?

Well, basically, it is hard to prove if someone have 'misclicked" a review, even though, yeah, sometimes we have...

I mean, dude, when I misclicked the one review about the series, I forgot what it is, I posted it to the user's profile... Than, after that I felt like it automatically -1 that review even though the site still counts it... xD

Well you're right, but it IS the user's choice to decide which he thinks is good and which is bad. It's a given that it will be abused by a lot of users, but I think that's how things always are when you introduce something new.

When you introduces something new, people will abuse it and will soon, a lot of people will do. The thing is that, well, "misclicking" can be an alternative way-out to someone. Which is not a pleasant thing really, I mean, it will break all morals in the community... xD

And if you added the Review comments panel, damn... It will be on fire... xD

In short, there's nothing wrong honestly saying to the reviewer that you misclicked the +1 button, at least in that way, you are being truthfully honest(probably). Making it free to everyone just creates random stuff happening behind the bars.. xD

Every review is gonna get butchered if they add a comment section, either by haters or fanatics. The bottom line is: you can't solve a problem without creating another, at least that's seems to be the case here.

Lol... I'd agree on that one, truly. I guess that's the reason why the Mods wouldn't or at least doesn't want to add something to just maintain the status quo... xD

Yeah, the review comment thing + this one= hell... flames everywhere.. xD

Even if they don't really bring back the entire "Not Helpful" thing, I think the entire retraction would help a lot, and I myself have been one of those that have misclicked a review around this site as well. Then again we can only dream right?

Nope, there is solution to the "misclicking" thing. Just outright said it to the reviewer... If he/she got butthurt, I guess that's the time when you can throw literally all stuff you can grab in his/her face. And yes, as previously mentioned, and as you also have said, it will happen, in your dream... xD
