The story just feels too rushed at the moment? Hm... usually when a story feels extremly rushed during the last couple of chapters, it's because it was axed and forced to finish soon. I can imagine this happening here. Apparently chapter 10 is the finale, that's very very rushed. I mean, they're basically saying the Duke was insane all along and there was no culprit. Therefore, they need to fix the issue with the aide, need to get that girl into the royal palace as a free woman and our main will become empress. The end. That's my take on hoiw this is probably going to end. Quite a shame, really. The death of the Duke was very sudden as well. |
