Ever since Overwatch came out I've been maining D.va, which got me a bit interested in the Mecha genre.

I know there are a couple of Mecha threads already but I was hoping for more recomendations for Mecha Newbies.

I've never seen anything from that genre and the closest I can say I came to watching some Mecha was the Power Rangers stuff I watched as a kid.

Any recomendations?

I recommend you also the Gundam franchise if you like the genre after you watched TTGL.

There is Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans and Gundam 00 that have their own universe.

Watch Gunbuster and Diebuster too, they're only 6 episodes a piece and are a very good way to get into the genre (made by GAINAX also). The OP and ED themes are fantastic as well.
