i liked what little i played of me3 even if it felt kinda boring at times
this looks really promising, and not baseless hype like nms either

Oh maybe, maybe it's the clothes we wear
The tasteless bracelets and the dye in our hair
Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns or our nothing places
But we're trash, you and me
We're the litter on the breeze
We're the lovers on the streets
Just trash, me and you
It's in everything we do
It's in everything we do

I've been fanboying a lot over Mass Effect. I still even play multiplayer at least 2-3 times a week, 1-2 hour sessions. Can't wait for Andromeda, but depending if I could get a new GPU, I might have to wait buying Andromeda. Hopefully Bioware doesn't screw us over like DAI.

Only if it's vastly different from the previous games. I barely played Mass Effect and didn't even finish the demo of Mass Effect 2. Some of the most boring third-person shooters I've ever played. The story didn't grip me either. I'm glad they're starting over with new characters, at least.

that was my problem with it too
i played the first ME and it was overwhelmingly boring for me, and scared me off of the franchise.
this looks a little more varied though, and im kinda iffy about it being open world, but if all else fails atleast i can explore it lol

Why would you want to get hyped? Hype just brings disappointment.

There's a good 100-200 people still dedicated on PS3. Don't know about other platforms though.

Your exploration will likely be restrained by linear storytelling. I'm saying you may have to play through the possibly boring story and its lame action scenes to make the world open up for you, because linear progression is just how most games are, from modern Zelda games to Assassin's Creed to GTA (not counting V) to Dark Souls to The Witcher. But I might be misinformed, as I've never really played a Mass Effect.

Definitely am hyped, i loved all Mass Effects to the core, even ME3 with its ending
The mix of getting into your crewmates pants and cruising around on your own ship is the best, my only wish would be that the combat/inventory/skilltress get more RPG-y again like in the first game

Nope. Main reason was because it just looks like Mass Effect mashed with the last DA Game, and it looks pretty empty and dull.
