When does this movie or ova takes place ?

some people are saying it takes place between s1 and s2 but lets be honest zero didn't had two geass eyes he got it at end so its probably after r2
some are saying different other things like alternative universe but we got krurugi
so whats the deal anyone care to explain please

It's between the first and second seasons and that's it, no alt universe bull or anything like that.
