| The MC doesn't choose a girl and it has a cliffhanger ending like most of the harem anime out there... I didn't really like it, story wise, so I don't recommend it to you. |

| Doesn't have the romance you're looking for, if you're looking for a chivalry of a failed knight type of romance. Still not a bad anime though I liked it. |

| As my title suggests....I'm a pretty big fan of ecchi... BUT...I didn't find Trinity Seven all that great. The girls are pretty hot, especially the psycho blonde girl, but this is one of those anime that like to mix harem + plot. And I'm fine with that, I mean my all time favorite anime is the entire Monogatari Series....that's a pure harem with tons of ecchi, but the story is REALLY GOOD too. Anyways, if you're gonna do harem+ plot, then the plot better be good, or else either the Harem elements or the story will conflict with each other and basically this is what everyone bitches about. Preferably, I'd like to see more anime like TLR Darkness, which is the greatest ecchi of all time, focuses mostly on the Harem, and only has a very thin plot in order to make it intriguing to see what happens next. |

| If you're looking for something like the romance like in Rakudai, then Trinity Seven does not fit. It's your typical harem anime, where the MC has lots of different, uhh, "romantic scenes" with everyone in his harem, but since it's a harem, it's nothing more than just those flirtatious moments. It was still entertaining, but yeah, Romance/Action anime is definitely one of the harder ones to find (good ones, that is). |

It's actually impressive how these shows are similar on the surface, but have different themes. Rakudai is the only one of them that has a strong romance element. If you're looking for romance, you'll be better off with Seiken Tsukai no World Break or Hidan no Aria. (But SAO is still the best choice) Taimadou Gakuen is about magitech police academy, full of gray morality and nasty things the MCs have to stop. In Asterisk, they are taking part in a supposedly fair tournaments, but everybody and their mother is looking for some unfair advantage, and that seems to take up the most screen time. |
| Yeah trinity the anime version has the very tiniest hint of a similar romance actually iirc but the show was designed to be ecchi harem so never went past subtly hinting that there could be more in one of the pairings Romeo X Juliet and SAO come to mind as first recommendations off Cavalry. |
