| Its been in my mind for quite some time since i hear some good things about em actually cooling the system, and alot of bad things from friends and ppl that had used it in my area that it actually overheat and brakes the console. Well im not planning to buy one since its just a waste of money and the system works just fine without em. Well whats your opinion about the intercoolers. |

| I had one on my 360 and it was annoying as hell..I don't know about the other systems but I sure wouldn't recommend one for the 360 even though those catch fire and need one. |

| ya i had it for my xbox 360 and it was loud and really annoying if ur xbox gets over heated the intercooler doesnt help all u need to do is open ur xbox and clean it out |

| Never used it. The Wii doesn't have heating problems, and I don't play the 360 enough to warrant purchasing one. Plus, I've heard mixed reviews on it, so I thought it was better just to save my money. |

| I honestly don't like the idea, IMO it seems like it could mess up the fans already in the system. If the cooler spins faster then the fans inside, i'd imagine it will eventually wear them out. Though i dunno if it's true, guess thats just my stance on em. |

| The PS3 runs surprisingly Hot and I started to notice on some games the longer I played them the worst glitches and frame rate problems got, also saves took slightly longer when the system was very hot. The 2 games I noticed it on was Dragon Age and Ninja Gaiden sigma 2. But this oddly didn't happen with Uncharted, Armored Core 4A, or Metal Gear Solid 4. I wonder if it only effects ports or some thing. |

| Intercoolers just a waste of extra power to the system and cause to much noises. well that is my opinion. |

It probably has to do with the model. My friend's 60GB one runs pretty hot at times, while my slim is never hot to the touch. Just warm at times. My 160 GB is the same works fine, but recently this one suddenly shuts off out of nowhere during me playing a round of COD4 and it tried switching it off and on and theres no red light. Thank god removing the power plug and putting it back on fixed it, only did it once hopefully it doesn't do it again. |
