One for All question

Hi all,

First time posting in a forum ever so excuse any etiquette I might not know!

I finished the Boku no Hero Academia anime recently and decided to carry on where the show left off with the manga. I'm currently on chapter 34 and I realized that 7 or 8 other people have had One For All before All Might. Why do we not know about them? Surely with that power they would be as famous as All Might and surely someone would have made the connection by now that they all have similar powers.

I'm sure this will be answered in later in the series but It got me curios is all!

If anyone could provide an answer that would be cool!

I believe this has to do with the origins of One for All explained in chapter 59.
