I've hit the anime wall...

I have only been watching anime for about 1 and a half years but have already seen over 100 different shows. I'm finding it hard to find new anime that interests me. Does anyone have any suggestions for anime that aren't as well known as the very popular ones (as I have seen or tried lots of them) yet are still good and enjoyable. (Please don't suggest things like bleach or one piece cos gintama is enough for me in that anime format.)
Genres I enjoy are:
Action
Seinen (Shounen is good too)
Romance (Optional)

Also I hate whiny MCs (Kaneki was the most I could put up with), would prefer a male lead, and I have seen enough harem-ecchi-cliche anime to last a lifetime!

Sorry. I must have forgot to add some of those to my list.
I have already seen akame ga kill and fullmetal alchemist (not brotherhood) and am watching code geass.
Charlotte looks okay, death note I was gonna watch eventually :) and aldnoah zero looks good.

I dont know if you count these as very popular but still they are pretty great shows. (Hunter X Hunter 2011 may seem boring at the start but it will get darker and more awesome as it continues) I hope i helped you somehow with these :3

I didn't want to get into hunter x hunter for some reason so i've been putting it off, so I will probably try watching it soon.
I want to finish FMA before starting brotherhood
I got tired of Freezing whilst watching the first season so I doubt I will watch the second one.
I'm not sure about kill la kill, don't really like the art style (and I prefer male mc)
Got bored of Durarara
Not keen on Black Butler
I was thinking of trying akatsuki no yona and so I will probably start soon.
I started the seven deadly sins but I hate the appearance of the main character and I can't get into it.
Kaiji seems interesting.
The loli female lead in Gosick kinda lowers my epectations; I've had enough of the whole "loli sleeps in same bed with mc", "loli calls mc onii-san" etc but gosick doesn't seem like that from the synposis at least so i'll give it a try.
Death parade looks interesting.
Rokka no Yuusha looks good and so I will try it.
And tiger & bunny is not for me.

uh its been a long time ago when i last awnsered any question
+1 ga-rei : zero, kinda weird story to follow but at the end it leaves an impression like no other and the main mc are girls oh and in the same universe as tokyo esp

ben-to, kinda cheesy but alot of fighting scenes

+1 gangsta, havent seen it in full myself but looked good and some of the action i've seen it looked great

+1 sword of the stranger, only down side to this one is that it is a movie instead of an anime

+1 kill la kill, alot of ecchi tho but some great senseless fighting and suprisingly good story

accel world, scifi action shounen it was a bite through but when i finished it i liked it alot

ao no exorcist, best one in this list

i can do more but then it wil be unreadable XD
