| Moved from Anime Discussion You could watch Brotherhood without watching the first series, yeah. Others will have a variety of opinions on this, but I'll say if you're not particularly short on time and enjoy general action/adventure types of shows, go ahead and watch the first series before Brotherhood. Brotherhood greatly condenses the events of the first series, and although the first series has a filler ending, I feel that it worked fine in establishing itself as its own entity. Both shows give two different perspectives on the same work, so it doesn't hurt to watch both and draw your own conclusions. |
| Basically FMAB is the teenage version of FMA, with more action and less storytelling. |
