| A little something for those who want to know a little bit more about every character Each student has a different patch on their right sleeve indicating their respective duties on board As far as I can figure it out. 1. Propulsion and engineering 2. Combat and Ordinance 3. Support crew (Inclusive of kitchen crew and possibly medical) 4. Navigation and Bridge operations  As far as the less prominent characters are concerned the OP theme gives us a clue as to where each character goes Propulsion and Engineering section Combat and Ordinance Support Crew Navigation and Bridge operations And as far as the more prominent characters of the bridge are concerned, they have different sections to manage. Our Captain Akeno and Naviagtion officer are under the Navigation and Bridge Operations. Kouko has her patch hidden but since she is the secretary I assume she belongs here as well Mashiro, Tama-chan , and Mei (her patch is covered but as torpedo officer I assume she is under this group) are under Combat and ordinance. As far as I am concerned with Mina who does not appear to have a patch, since she is the Deputy Captain of the Admiral Spee I assume she is under the Spee's Combat and Ordinance group. |

I found another badge in the OP. I'm pretty sure it just means Blue Mermaid, if not the school's badge/logo. |

I'm actually not quite sure what that is Since this is the School's Flag and Coat of Arms  And this is the Flag and Logo of the Blue Mermaids  In my opinion it means that they are marked as trainees in the lack of any other explanation. |
