| The rule of thumb is "NEVER" switch off the computer during BIOS update and there is a saying if it is working don't fix it. Only if a problem persists then you may need to update BIOS that will resolve a problem. You have two options 1. Buy a new computer 2. | Sounds like the BIOS is corrupt. I've heard removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes can sometimes fix it. The problem is that it was updating when you shut it down so that probably won't fix it. |

My earlier post has a link to a guide. Specifically for you motherboard.  this image is of the specific part you are looking for, as you can see, all you need to do is move the jumper for 5 seconds. If you do not do this, the BIOS will NOT reset. |
