| I'm looking for an anime where the MC is kind of a prodigy I guess. Basically, he just has an extreme amount of talent. That being said, he does not need to be OP at the start. I would love it if maybe he had to grow and develop his abilities. Maybe they show themselves sometimes, but not during others. Looking for something with action and definitely some fantasy aspect but it's not necessary. It can be dark, but if it was light at times I would appreciate that as well(Akame Ga Kill! for example in this aspect). |

| -Free! (no, seriously, it fits your criteria.) -Gosick (has a darker atmosphere, no actual deaths or despair or anything but it's set in a wartime period. Prodigy is the female character and it's told from the male character's perspective.) -Kuroko no Basket (the protagonist isn't a prodigy per se, but he's the former teammate of five actual prodigies and he teams up with a prodigy-level current teammate to beat them. It is about him having crazy good skills and having to prove himself, though.) -Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace (it sucks though.) I feel like none of these are probably what you're looking for, but...? |
