preferably young-looking(middle/high-school) male lead, NO ecchi, NO harem.

Preferably little to no romance at all, but if there has to be romance it would be greatly preferred if it was with one girl, not every girl. preferred genres are Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Death game etc. , gore and violence are a plus. Strong-ish or at least likable lead preferred... school/academy setting is also a bonus.

eg. mondaiji-tachi, k project, mirai nikki, nanatsu no taizai, owari no seraph, akame ga kill, deadman wonderland, fullmetal alchemist, kuroshitsuji, wolfs rain, magi : labyrinth of magic, noragami.

Here are a few shows from Production I.G who I think of as having that "glossy" look:
Ghost Hound
Suisei no Gargantia (some romance but with one girl as you ask)
RD Sennou Chosashitsu (teen female lead; lots of adults of both sexes)
Higashi no Eden

Female leads but definitely worth watching
Seirei no Moribito
Psycho-Pass (again lots of adult men)

Other then that, perhaps

The Legend of Qin/Qin's Moon(there's a romance side plot going on with a bunch of characters, but It's a very minor aspect, and each male with a romance backstory, side plot or whatnot has only one girl, there's no going after another's woman or any nonsense like that). The art style is very different from anything else in the anime industry though, as It's made with a game engine, but neverless looks amazing.
