| It was horrible. Last night I couldn't sleep. I had a really bad feeling, so I went out. I rode all night into the Abyss Maze, faced all the guardians there, and I finally arrived at the Core of Anime. It was a dreadful sight. My worst fears were realized. I tried every recovery spell, every first aid technique I knew. I summoned the Healer Tribe from the 5th layer of Heaven, but I was too late, we couldn't save it. Anime.... is dead... |

| I do not think the industry itself is dying, but I do think that it is more homogeneous that I am used to seeing. There is certainly some variety here and there, but I think the channels through which anime is drawing their inspiration are very narrow indeed. I also think the industry is currently struggling, given its international success with certain titles, to find the perfect blend that would cater to a niche at home that buys the product, and at the same time have a show that can leverage its international popularity for more attention and appeal. |

| If by dying you mean constantly releasing shit anime then yes. Their shitty revenues reflects their shitty anime. Last season was mostly crap. w/e they learned from it and released One Punch Man, so all good. |
