Anyone with half a brain could see how it was turning. Honestly if you had just read the light novels you'd understand. |

| Because this season puts a ton of build up into action and creates a setting unlike what generally appears in a Drama/Romance. Real acting is present as it usually is not in anime, where characters movements can be translated into paragraphs of text. Harem elements are present but we don't get a normal cast of selfish sluts who all want the main characters D, there's a lot of complexity especially between 8man, Yui, and Yuki. This anime is possibly the first example I have seen that takes a completely plausible normal High-school setting and makes a good romance drama (without sticking in scifi/supernatural elements). And in pretty much any form of media the build up is never as good as what comes after, but they aren't something that should be compared for that reason. This right now is what the show is actually about and for those people who just wanted a shallow ROMCOM (which I don't hate by themselves) can go elsewhere. |
