Before he passed away, Noboru Yamaguchi told his editors the remaining plot and ending and entrusted the series to them on his sickbed. His family also desires to see a continuation along with many requests from the fans.

This is probably the greatest news to ever be announced this 2015.

I'm so excited for this. I watched the anime and never knew the author had passed away until I looked for the light novel to see if there was more. I was completely heartbroken after becoming attached to this series finding out he had passed away. Finding this post just gave me a reason to rewatch and start to read from the beggining once again. One of my favorite series to date.

So will this ultimately end with Saito and Louise? Kinda ruins the point of reading the novels now. Could they possibly change it up and go with harem ending? the anime made me mad when it teased at harem only for Saito to choose Louise.

The ending is probably going to be similiar.
