I just found this video on internet and this anime seemed interesting enough. Did anyone watch this show? It is a bit old. |

| It starts out as a cool oldschool fantasy shounen with comedy elements, but at some point begins to take itself more seriously and IMO it doesn't really work. Most of the drama felt a bit clumsy to me. I enjoyed the first eight episodes or so, the rest disappointed me. Inconsistent animation is quite a big problem too. But there is still some cool stuff there (pleasant classic art style, the usual fantastic work by Megumi Hayashibara, some colorful characters). I dunno, it's watchable but I wouldn't really recommend it. |
