 Welcome to the First Official Music Addicts AMV Contest. Many of you should know what it's about so I'll get straight to the facts. This is the first contest for the club so forgive me if not everything is perfectly thought out. If things go well we'll surely have many more contests like these. For now I can only offer a sweet little banner and the fame for the winner but maybe some of you enjoy making AMVs as much as I hope and will still share them with us. Also forgive me for the simple banner on top. Theme: Adventure/Action Rules:
Big thanks to my Co-Host Kanashimi for helping me out with this. She was way more experience with AMVs and contests. Also, thanks to Malon, Mathes, and Kaiserpingvin for help regarding the rules. | Yes, that was a part of the idea - to spread the name of MAL through YouTube. I personally think, however, that no AMV should be revealed to the public before the end of the competition, as having it ready earlier allows it to attain popularity and familiarity, which would be an "unfair advantage". I dunno what Cyruz says however. |

| The anime shows you're using for your AMV, must all have at least Action or Adventure listed as genre here on MAL. |

| For some reason i cant make it AVI... I dont know why but it fucks up the music... I can only WMV which is fine for everything i can upload it at youtube or anywhere else... Why it has to be avi? |

| Anywhere you want. It's okay if it's not a movie website, you just need to upload it to a site like megaupload or rapidshare or whatever and send the link to either Kanashimi or me. |

| I'm pretty much finished. Just one question Do not reveal your entry before the deadline - does this mean don't share it with anybody except for the judges? Or only send it to the judges on the deadline date? |

In that topic we will present all the videos, we don't want users to have biased opinions. When you're done, send us a link to the video and we will check if it abides by all the rules. When the entry deadline has come, we will present all the videos. |
