Should I watch the filler episodes?

im catching up with FT but i reached the latest episodes where theres a whole long list of filler episodes 204-226
and i was wondering if i should skip them or watch them?
worth watching? more importantly would i miss something? i skipped the Lucys cousin filler arc and kinda regretting it
still what do you think?

Some were boring, but I liked most of them. Depends on what you want to see, it's mostly random comedy and a bit of fanservice.

Why do you skip anything here?

Yes. Both anime original arcs are entertaining. Also lucy's cousin arc is canon approved by hiro mashima. He used the redesigns of oracion seis from anime into his manga. Also referenced the events of that arc in manga.

They were not in the manga. People's perception of filler is anything that is not written in manga. It does not matter for them if the author added those characters to the anime.

Also know that all the celestial spirits in this celestial spirit rebellion arc were designed by hiro mashima.

I watched the other two filler arcs but skipped this one, I'm deciding to watch the Sun Village/Tartarus Arc but when I have to wait for the new episodes, I'll just watch the filler arc.

The Dark Zodiac or whatever it's called arc is honestly the worst filler arc bar Daphne, which I like to pretend doesn't exist. Key to the Starry Skies was infinitely better than this most recent filler arc.
The random one-off filler episodes are a lot of fun though.

The Eclipse Celestial Spirits part of the arc was by far the worst I completely agree and it made me hate the series for a while. The one shots that followed however aren't fillers, they're Omake chapters written by Mashima-sensei himself and there are 2 episodes that adapt the second novel as well.

OP:

Eclipse part of the arc 204-219 (If you're going to skip it you won't miss anything at all)
Omake + Novel adaptions 220-225 (They were pretty fun to watch)
