| after reading that synopsis i did not expect that op lol. loved it tho ive seen this show a lot in peoples favs, and a lot of them recommending this too and i can definitely see why just by the first ep. i kinda thought that the girl was lying at the end just so the guy didnt die while feeling so guilty but damn .. |
this anime is fascinating and intriguing plot .playing games with dead people acting as arbiters sending them to reincarnation and void . |

| They're both just guilty lol, deserved xD Pretty fun game. Mind games are interesting to watch. Opening is pretty nice. A good start I guess. Decim has such a cold personality, but I like him. |

| A crazy first episode with some tragic moments. Its sad to see the guys suspicions to be true. The animation is pretty good along with the white haired man Dedim being an interesting character. |

The fact that so many people argue that she went to hell "bc she cheated" when she was clearly a MUCH better person than him and decided to sacrifice herself for his sake. Okay, I understand your view on the characters and their respective situations and deserved fates in that episode. I've seen the series all the way through, but don't have strong feelings on this particular situation and these characters either way, but yours seems like a perfectly logical and understandable reaction and position to hold. But something here doesn't make sense to me at all. Why would random individual viewers' opinions of the show, including on the characters' actions and their deserved outcomes, cause you to drop the show itself? The creator and writer aren't the fans and they aren't anyone in the audience. In the first place, if there's any amount of ambiguity as to the future awaiting those characters to the point where it has to be questioned and debated at all among fans because there isn't an explicit clear-cut answer given, then the person or team writing the show probably saw fit to keep it ambiguous and open-ended enough so some degree of nuance could exist and fans could "choose their own ending" and interpret it as they will. They themselves might have had a particular end in mind or heavily favored one side, but didn't see fit to ram it through in a gaudy and showy way, and went for the more understated approach. Why would you disavow a show solely due to disagreeing with some of the other people watching it on the things that happen in it? |
