| Hard to say, I like most all of 'em. I couldn't really chose between Asuka and Rei, but probably Asuka cuz she's awesome like that. I like "Rei" as a name, though. ...*doesn't hate Shinji either* |

| not a big fan of eva but if i had to pick, i would say Asuka. I like Rei in the manga spin-offs though |

And Asuka's parental issues at least made sense, character-wise. You could see a direct correlation with what happened when she was young and how she acted as a teenager. Also, tsundere's are awesome. |

| These days I'd say Gendo. For being focused, badass, and above all the creepy glasses/hands pose. But when I first watched the series, I was seriously obsessed with Asuka. Never really felt much for Rei. |

| This is a very, very tough question! All of the characters in Evangelion are, IMO, absolutely brilliant. If I had to pick, though, I'd pick Shinji. He's the most interesting of the lot, I think. People complain about him - but I think he's just awesome. He's a believeable, realistic character. If you want a stereotypical Hollywood heroe, then go watch Die Hard or something, but Evangelion's character are real and believeable, and this especially applies to Shinji! Shinji ftw! |

| it's tied between Ritsuko and Misato. If we're just doing Rei vs. Asuka, I'd go for Rei, but Ritsuko and Misato are more interesting, especially with Kaji thrown into the mix. Misato has a great action woman feel to her and Ritsuko is just a great, complicated character, and both of them feel really credible as people to me. Adults > teenagers. |
| I can't really choose -one- character that I like, because they are all great characters, but among my favorites are Shinji, Rei II and Misato. :D |

| hm... i think thats kind of a hard question. i really like asuka for her enthusiasm. and rei because... she's rei ^.^ but neither were my favourite characters... i think. hm... so i'll go with penpen. never can go wrong with a mascot ^.^ |
| No love for Gendo? Well anyway, I thought Gendo was the most admirable character in the show. Kaji is probably a character I'd like to meet in real life, since he's the only character in the series that doesn't have an obvious weakness to his personality. Well, as long as no females are around, that is. |
