| Could never forget this ep. Writers did my boy so dirty. All this mess over a damn Meganium. Just had to reach his final evolution over something as wack as this and still take a fat L after smfh. |

| So we get to see a rare instance in the Pokemon anime where a match was won with the power love rather than friendship XD. Another interesting aspect being all Meganium, Tropius, Grovyle/Sceptile belonging to the same egg group and breeding between them being actually possible was a interesting detail. The battles were great imo and that entire evolution sequence was made better by the OK! soundtrack. Also, Sceptile being the ace from now on is really great but according to me this was a rather late evolution like it should've happened long time back the writers took a really long time to execute this. Would be interesting to see the battles since Sceptile is here now. Also, from the preview it seems we're getting another contest episode the next time and tbh I'm really not ready for a typical not so interesting contest episode again. I hope we get some development or some real action next time. Also, it seems Team Rocket is being a bit sidelines in the recent episodes. |
