He just opened the sign-ups this early because he really needs tons of players. this and asu doesnt expect to get 35 peeps to play if asu sets up sign ups only a week before it starts part it is asu also doesnt wants to run it during teh fall semester asu is hoping to put lotsa time into teh game/balancing and doesnt wants to end up having to do taht teh night/day befores a test finals end on dec 10th if there are no games running on dec 14th and enough peeps have signed up for asus game then asu has no issue starting it taht early |
