The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow



I decided to host a game under the theme of the original French game titled in English The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow.

Rules

You should all be aware of how a mafia game works. If not, please refer to this guide. Inexperienced players are discouraged to join. This is not a practice game.

The general difference in this game theme is that | Mafia = Werewolves | and | Townies = Villagers |. Most of the roles should be similar to regular mafia ones, so you shouldn't have a problem with anything, but if you do, please contact the host.

1. Do not post in the thread during the night phase. Unlike other mafia games in this club, you will not be able to discuss at night. No tactics can be discussed, so if you want a casual chat, I suggest you go somewhere else that is more appropriate for it in this club. Once you are dead, you are not allowed to post in this thread.

2. Do not reveal your role by the use of screenshots or other similar means. Of course, you are free to pretend to be a role you're not or try to tell everyone your role and hope they listen, but you can't prove it.

3. Be active! The roles require everyone to be participating. If you fail to be active and don't contribute to the lynching discussion properly, you might be disqualified for idling.

4. Voting during day phase is NOT MANDATORY. Regardless of the number of votes, the most voted player will die. If you fail to submit your actions at night you will not be disqualified: you will target a random player instead. If I am not present during phase changes, every action or vote submitted after the official deadline will not be counted.

5. I am the moderator of this game and what I say goes.

6. If you are going to be away from MAL, I unfortunately cannot assure you that you will live through your absence. If people lynch you or kill you while you are not present, it's their choice and nothing can be done, otherwise it will corrupt the game.

7. Personal insults will not be tolerated. Please know that playstyles can change depending on the circumstances and role of a player, so do not assume anything personal during the course of this game. If you ever have a problem with another player, message the host.

8. Do not use any external communications (personal messages, instant messenger, etc.) to discuss the game. Everything must be said in this thread. Werewolves and certain roles may communicate in their designated thread during the night phase.

9. This game will start at a day phase, but no lynching will occur. The way certain roles work can be affected by starting at a lynching phase. Be prepared for that and don't cry if you don't get past the first night.

10. All night actions and questions regarding the game should be sent to me. Anyone can update the vote count, but I will always verify it.



Roles List

The roles in this game will all be revealed upon death.
There are two types of roles in this game: main roles and secondary roles. All players will be assigned a main role, but only some of them will have a secondary role.
