Hey i got a question, about slam dunk. I am currently at episode 38 and sakuragi doesnt seem to be making any sort of improvement, i know that he will be better, BUT the anime is way to focused on comedy right now and it is more frustrating and annyoing than funny. Basicly all i want to know is if sakuragi will be as good as rukawa or be able to compare to him. Because as the anime is right now it is just really boring and frustarting to watch and i am considering to drop it.

No, not in the anime. He stays mostly the same throughout the anime, apparently he gets better in the manga though.

read the manga... the final match shokoku vs sannoh will give u goosebumps.. sakuragi will not be as good as rukawa but he will become much more useful in the inter high final...
