| i have been wondering what people thought on this because i am a anime blu ray collector and sometimes i feel like when they release a series the price is way to high at the first month (like say i love you. it was 60 bucks when it came out but it wasnt even a collectors edition just the regualr blu ray) what is everyones opiniong on Anime blu ray costs? do you think its way tooo much or not that bad? |

| No. The Anime industry has it tough as it is trying to break even with shows, if bd prices were decreased there would be a very slight, almost irrelevant increase in sales but a significant drop in actual revenue. |

| Depends on if you're buying them brand new or not. If you aren't that worried about supporting the industry and you just want a blu ray anime collection, then you have more options. Just buy them used in good condition (much cheaper) from reputable websites, or get them from websites like righstuff that have cheaper blu ray prices for anime than the norm. Also what people above me have already said, price for anime blu rays goes down over time, so they are cheaper if you are patient enough to wait a good while for the price to drop (same thing applies to modern video games now with price drops over time) |

| Depends on quality of subs and/or if you like/prefer dubs I guess. Any TV show is pricey as a blind purchase, anything over 55 bucks for 300 minutes is kind of dumb. I say this as someone who set my wallet on fire and bought the first BD set to F/Z btw (not blind doe). |
