| I guess Chaos;Head would fall into the category you're looking for. Have you seen Corpse Party or Dangan Ronpa; The Animation? I highly recommend you to play DR game since it adds more details in the game compared to the anime, but if you don't like VN (like me) it's still worth checking out. |

| You can download corpse party and the sequel on the vita for not terribly much $ if you have that console. I got corpse party a few months back, and bought dagan ronpa for the vita as well. Another Dagan Ronpa game is coming out for Vita in August I think. |

| I second Denpa Teki na Kanojo. Freaky atmosphere with even scarier characters. Helps that it's also beautifully paced. |

The anime is better if you want the school/dark/"gore" setting. The game is a lot longer and wouldn't recommand it if you want something fast pace, because its really slow |
