Long answer: the anime covered chapter 0 to 36, but not in numerical order. (Chapter 0 is the 80-page oneshot that started it all). For example, episode 12 adapted chapters 35 and 36, but then episode 13 adapted chapters 12 and 19. But since it's a slice-of-life, things can be done out of order and still make perfect sense, so no need re-read all of chapter 0 to 36 in the right order after already watching the anime. However, the anime completely skipped chapters 11, 13, 18 and 25–27, and also skipped sizable chunks of chapters 5, 6 and 9. But you can really skips all of these too and still understand the story very well. So, you can just start reading at chapter 37.
