I hated the plot. Hard to follow. Anime is overhyped and overrated. Please watch anything else other than this cheap copy of Ready Player One.

| Watching this feels like starting the beginning of a new anime era, it's understandable why this anime considered a masterpiece by many people cause first episode in and I'm absolutely hooked into this series. This anime was the gateway of the isekai genre. The concept of this anime is absolutely brilliant, can't even imagine back in 2012 when this was streaming on TV how much people was invested into this series because of its unique setting. The entire nerve gear system is terrifying, putting your head into a VR headset that can literally fry your brain like a microwave is really something else. Kirito is a beta tester which give him an upper hand for understanding this game , his first decision of levelling up is an example of it. In only 1 month 2k people died and the number of victims will probably go up since accidental fall damage can literally lead to your full HP loss which results in death. Also I agree with klein, kirito do in fact have a cute face（´∀｀） |
