Re-watching this series for the nth time, literally one of my favorite series of all time. But, I just want to refresh before the reboot airs.

I always felt like this first episode was what made me fall in love with this series. Vash is such an interesting character, and I absolutely love him in this.

Watching this for the "Luck of the Draw" Challenge Stack. Seems like this'll be fun. I thought about watching this for years but I kept putting it off.

Que início maravilhoso, o humor do protagonista funciona muito bem, já é um dos melhores protagonista mesmo com apenas 1 episódio

Now just how many Languages does Vash actually speak? Bilingual Bonus for me with his gratuitous German "Danke, danke!" :-D

I've been longing to watch Trigun for a long time and my god I think I've found a winner with the first episode. Chuck-a-block with action and humour and the cast of characters were fun to watch, I'm certainly getting Alucard vibes from Vash even if he's a goofball, not that there's anything wrong with Vash as a whole mind.

we got a great look on how vash's personality is like her. he's as much of a goofball that i expected him to be going into the show. i'm pretty fond of the two girls as well. i hope they're treated well in the show.
animation wasn't the most stellar but i don't really care since i care about the quality of the characters and stories more. but it still feels very unique even if the budget might not be super high.

You know what, coming to this after watching Trigun Stampede isn't quite as jarring as I was excepting.

Is this it? This is the great-you gotta see it-one of the best anime from the 90's? No really, is this it? Asking for a friend. Vash antics were annoying af, the two chicks were meh at best. The "villains" were nothing more than cardboard one punch line.

Not a good start to what is suppose to be a must watch anime.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣

Holy hell, I didn't know guns and bullets can do that much damage to a building! It just reminded me of the destruction in the game series Red Faction! XD

This also has a feeling of a western slash cowboy-esque theme, with a mix of a post-apocalyptic environment.

I also like how the main hero we're introduced showed a completely different personality that what we were expecting.

Vash is just him. I don't think there is any better way to describe him.

I've seen Trigun a million times now and I still think Vash has to have one of the best introductions for one of the most unexpected characters ever. That badass opening, the entire bar just being blown away and only one man survives without so much as even moving an inch. He stands up, turns to the attackers, pulls out his revolver, pulls the trigger..... click click Empty barrel.

Be he a GOD? Or be he a lucky IDIOT?

I remember watching this show ages ago in my first pass through the classics and I absolutely fucking hated every second of it. I'm not above dumb slapstick comedy (Azumanga Daioh is one of my favourite anime) and the idea of a superhero restraining himself such that nobody can tell he's doing anything has grown on me as an archetype but I think I still really hate Vash and Trigun as a whole. I want to at least get to the point where Vash can't keep up the dipshit act anymore and see if I have a bit of Stein's Gate moment but even after like 20 years I still don't think I like this show at all :/

First of all... I didn't expect that personality from Vash. It was unexpected.
It's alarming and comical how many bullets are wasted in the first episode alone. Lol
In fact, this anime seems to contain more humor than it... Should? I don't know. Yet.
Well. I really like the way everything looks: The designs, the landscapes, the structures.
It will be interesting to watch something so highly recommended.

Trigun, I only knew about this anime when the remake/reboot whatever stampede is came out. I'm watching it because a lot of people say is very similar to Outlaw Star/Cowboy Bebop so if I like those animes I should like this one too right?. The op has no lyrics and the ed is mediocre, is disappointing in that aspect. I wasn't expect Vash personality to be like that, he can't even see blood apparently, I wonder what this guy did to be so valious and persecuted. I like this concept of everyone not knowing who he truly is and other people being attacked because of the many rumors. Seems like his talent is his luck and also seems like this show is going to be more comedy than action. Those two girls will be his team later on I guess. Weak start to be honest.
