Finally, another anime that understands that the most broken characters in MMOs are not the ones with the best skills or the most striking, but rather the ones who are capable of making the things that everyone uses in such a good way that they make that everyone depends on them. I will definitely follow this premiere to the minute, 10/10.
PS: If you like stories of this style, there is a manwha on air called "Overgeared" totally recommended.

I'll pile on to the hilarity of the notion that somehow Stealth Archer with Wind Magic is a weak or rarely chosen option in games.

This is one of the most bog standard combos in ALL OF GAMING
Hell, Stealth + Archery is a standard combo in IRL Warfare too

Other than that I'm quite enjoying the slice of life feeeeeel of it

I really hope they maintain that the MC is mediocre and just doing things his own pace...
I would give this anime an instant 8/10 if he stays mediocre just doing chill gaming stuff

Please don't make him OP

I'm sorry but I still find it hard to get immersed in video game anime like this. Shangri-la is the only one but even that's because they've pretty much ignored the boring RL elements.

If you're going to put so much time and money into video game side, just make it an isekai instead of a video game that's animated like normal life outside of the game.

Also, how the fuck were they smelling? They never mentioned that part of the VR headset, which looks like regular VR headset. Just random shit added that would make sense in a regular fantasy/isekai setting, but looks and sounds retarded in a video game context.
