| Sakurai wrote Nero and True. Nasu wrote Tamamo's. And Altera I think was also Nasu, but it might have been co-written with Sakurai |

| Nero was too basic. Tamamo was a slog and boring. Altera's route actually felt like an actual FSN quality style writing. Insulting comparison yes but Im just illustrating how much of a quality leap it was from Nero and Tamamo. True End route was eh... It has some good and some bad. Especially the super Anime power up at the end lol. If I reread Extella again, it is definitely for Altera's route. |
| I agree actually. Altera's route was really good. And she was my fav. from that game has nothing to do with her being a giant choco Illya It doesn't help that Nero and Tamamo were super repititive, and that the whole timelock thing was kinda meh, imo. |
| Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember that it was Sakurai who wrote the Nero and Tamamo routes and that Nasu wrote Altera's and co-wrote True End with Sakurai. | You know what, I searched around and actually could not find a credible source for who wrote which routes, but we definitely discussed it years ago. Apparently I just remembered AirCon saying Nasu wrote Tamamo and Sakurai wrote True, but he had a habit of just spitting out his speculations as facts without sources. Also lol I apparently was actually hype for Extella Link at one point, but I totally forgot it even existed by the time it released. |

| Speaking of that OG EXTRA Nero and basically every other version of hers makes Zero Saber and FSN Saber look like the same person. It is more like Hoha-Ace Nero replaced the OG for the serious parts of the story. Is it just me that feels that way? |

| Imagine still thinking there will be routes for Tsukihime girls. Clearly, route 1 will be Arc, but then the story opens up and route 2 is Saber route, route 3 is also Saber route but here she is a vampire hybrid fusion with Arc somehow, and route 4 bonus dlc (or paid, depends on how much they think they can get away with) will be Saber Alter route. They might make an Archer route, but I wouldn't bet on it. Tell me I am funny, I demand it |

| Next they'll release Tsukihime/Extra KKK, and then make everyone think the game's gonna be about Kohaku, but the title will actually mean Kursed Kinky Kirei. The only one you can romance is Kirei but if you make even a single mistake you either die or somehow end up with Shinji instead. The dlc isn't even a new route, but just a fanservicey outfit for the protagonist and a lil' crescent moon near your cleared save files. |

| Way better than what I understood in the camrip. Kirei's story was there but in different scenes instead of one big monologue at the end. By combining his talk before rescuing about AM being evil or not with his opinion of Kiritsugu was a nice touch. Ilya as well had enough scenes for a bond to develop, they just werent the scenes people wanted. CG Herc looked better.Still noticeable but not garbage. And if you slow down the NLBW scen you can see the points where the attacks land on his body both in the far away shot and the one above them. I dont know if a slow mo would be better or not, but I liked it. Salter vs Rider was amazing. While they did make Saber look like she gets petrified it is repelled later with magical energy. Some people may not like it but I liked this visual representation. Medusa's Monstrous Strength, I assume it was, was also great. Give Medusa a cause to fight for and a good enough magical supply and this is what you get. The end was just orgasmic. I dont know why people made a big issue out of the effect of Saber getting stabbed by the Azoth. I was expecting some crazy shit. Not sure if disappointed or not tbh that there wasnt much. Jewel Sword too OP plz nerf. They even animated Rin's firing CG. The little shadow familiar is somehow moe. Plz protecc.And is still there at the end lol. Only complain with the Kirei fight is the abrupt cut and then return at its end. And the subs fucked up Kirei's line about "time", changing it to speed. Shirou didnt win because he was faster but because Kirei's time run out faster. Why aniplex? While I get that people didnt understand the whole puppet thing(I still think it is pretty obvious even without learning all the Type Moon secrets) I dont get why some think Shirou died. He is very clearly alive, even if you dont get how. I dont think I noticed before but Rin and Sakura travel across the world to find Touko, not just Japan. I assumed Japan was a better place to hide but anyway. Great detail I loved but didnt notice in the camrip: Sakura's eyes are back to their natural color. Just beautiful. Shirou on the other hand looks like shit in that design even in anime form. Is this an inside joke? It didnt actually seem fast paced to me. The transition from event to event was fine and the important explanations like the origin of the war, Heaven's Feel and Angra were simple enough to understand. What I didnt like:....well basically nitpicks. -Kirei says that he buried Rin in her house's ground....ehm...that doesnt explain much for newcomers. They may get it if they remember what Waver did for Rider.But still "buried" is a leap in logic for them. -No memory time gaps for Shirou. Instead we get Archer's feelings overtaking him. It isnt bad per se but instead of showing how bad the arm is it goes for the emotional approach. -His memory loss is also badly shown so the climax with him trying to remember Ilya's name is kinda cringe. -They removed the "detail" of Angra being tortured. It kinda takes away from the "similarities" with Sakura. Great film. I dont know if HF would have been better as a TV series but I am more than satisfied with the trilogy. |
