| Anybody here specializing in drawing Bishoujo ( pretty girl ) characters ? If you do, can you please post some of your art here, and also give us a few short but concise tips on how to draw cuter Bishoujo characters effectively and easily ( like any steps or guides we need to take in mind when drawing such characters ? ) I could read Japanese and found some tips on drawing Bishoujo chars here on this site : https://www.clipstudio.net/oekaki/archives/151661 I think it could be useful to everyone here, even though the tips focused primarily on how to draw younger girls well but not high school teens, which needs the face to be drawn bigger and less rounder, like for example, Stella from Rakudai Kishi. I'd also like for anyone here to post their own tips and experience on drawing Bishoujo characters, so can you give us some advice and examples of your art here on this thread ? |

| I frown at recent installments of Persona and Trails of Cold Steel that introduce harem-like elements in the story. We need more JRPGs like the past Lunar series, where there are multiple romantic pairings in the party other than for the protagonist and main heroine. |

Not sure if this qualifies as bishoujo since she's 23, but this is a character from a harem manga I'm working on. For me, it's always been three things: eyes, proportions, and detail. It's amazing how off a character (especially a female, in my opinion) can look if any of the three are not right. I tried about five different styles of eye before I settled on this one for my characters and it completed them in an instant. I detail even insignificant things (finger creases, toenails) and find that it makes the character that much more whole and attractive. Blush especially; I swear that makes everything cute. Pink lips too. |

| Nice drawings. I consider Bishoujo characters as only teenage girls, so 23 would just make her a Bijo or pretty woman instead lol. Your drawing is pretty good, but her body seems too lanky and thin, so if you'd like to make her look body look thiccer and sexier, try watching Mikeymegamega's videos at Youtube. He has great tutorials on how to draw sexy female bodies with his good understanding of female body anatomy. I am learning from his videos now. |

Eye is an eye, yes, but imagine the black line as the mouth and what you call a beak is actually a jaw. Enjoy if you manage to see what I envisioned ok i do see it now, but it is too vague and the parrot impression is too strong that it flips everytime i see it |
